PulseGuard ships with a suite of free diagnostic tools you can access directly from the Tools menu in the dashboard. Most tools require no account — open the URL, enter a target, and get results in seconds. All tools run on Cloudflare’s global edge network, so measurements reflect real-world conditions from points of presence distributed across the globe rather than a single data-centre origin.
These tools run on Cloudflare’s edge network, giving you accurate latency readings and DNS resolution results from multiple geographic vantage points — not just from a single server location.

Available Tools

SSL Checker

Inspect any domain’s SSL/TLS certificate: validity period, issuer chain, expiry date, and negotiated protocol version. Catch near-expiry certificates before they cause downtime.

DNS Sentinel

Query DNS records — A, AAAA, MX, CNAME, TXT, and NS — across multiple resolvers simultaneously. Quickly identify propagation lag or resolver inconsistencies.

Port Checker

Test TCP connectivity to any host:port combination from the edge network. Confirm whether a firewall rule or security group is working without needing a bastion host.

HTTP Security Headers

Analyse HTTP response security headers — HSTS, Content Security Policy, X-Frame-Options, and more — and receive a letter-grade score with remediation advice.

Global Latency Probe

Measure round-trip latency to any URL from multiple geographic regions in one click. Surface which regions are experiencing elevated response times or failures.

Payload Regex Tester

Test regular expressions and JSONPath expressions against a sample HTTP response body. Validate assertion patterns before applying them to a monitor.

IP Subnet Calculator

Calculate network ranges, broadcast addresses, usable host counts, and subnet masks from CIDR notation. Supports both IPv4 and IPv6 prefixes.

Visual Diff

Compare two URLs visually side by side to detect layout regressions or unexpected changes after a deployment.

Cron Sentinel

Build, validate, and translate cron expressions into plain English. Paste an existing expression to understand when it fires, or generate one from a human-readable schedule.

Roast My Stack

Submit your tech stack and receive an AI-powered analysis with actionable security hardening and performance improvement recommendations.
The Payload Regex Tester is especially useful when setting up response assertions on HTTP monitors. Paste a real response body from your target service, write your regex or JSONPath expression, and confirm it matches before saving the monitor.

Accessing the Tools

You can reach any tool directly from the Tools menu in the top navigation bar of the dashboard. All tools are accessible without logging in, so you can bookmark them or share links with teammates.
